This is the future I want to live in, where devices don’t require hands or speech to be controlled and things feel a bit more like the future we were promised in the movies. I had a play and by default the mouse cursor is moved by moving my head, and smiling clicks the left mouse button.
I changed it a bit so that blinking clicked the mouse, but that soon turned using my Chromebook into a game of trying not to blink to avoid randomly clicking on everything. Fun for about 30 seconds, but got old quick.
Apart from the obvious accessibility uses, I think it’d be useful if my main PC could watch my eyes and warp the mouse pointer to whichever screen I am looking at. I’m forever losing my mouse pointer. Combine it with the way Linux window managers can do “focus follows mouse” and I might get my long standing wish of having a computer that just knows which window needs input.
